TOPIC: RESURRECTION POWER
TEXT:ACTS 2:1-2
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
The greatest demonstration of God’s power was during the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
You must make sure that the reality of the resurrection is made manifest in your life and one of the realities is the power of God. The kingdom of God is about power.
Lk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Power is not only to be talked about but must be manifested in your life.
You need this power for you not to suffer affliction from the camp of the enemies.
Lk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
You need power so that you will not be hurt by evil people.
You need the power of the Lord for you to prevail in the combat of life. Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
This world is a battleground if you don’t prevail, you will travail.
The last battle you lost shall be the last forever in the name of Jesus.
You need this power of resurrection to prove that God is the owner of power and not the devil.
Ex 9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
You are the ambassador of Christ on earth and anywhere you are to do what Jesus would have done.
ASSIGNMENT
Be connected to Jesus genuinely.
Passionately ask God for this power.
PRAYER POINTS
1.Father, I thank you for sending your word of power unto me in the name of Jesus.
2.Father, let the power of resurrection and its benefits be made manifest in my life in the name of Jesus.
3.Father, by the power of resurrection I shall no longer be a casualty of the devil in the name of Jesus.
4.Father, empower me and my family members to successfully defeat all our enemies in the name of Jesus.
5.Arrows of the wicked fired into my direction, I return you back to sender in the name of Jesus.
6.Father, terminate the era of want, scarcity and empty handedness in my life in the name of Jesus.
7.Father, I receive supernatural protection and preservation against arrows of the wicked in the name of Jesus.
8.Father, by your power show to all my adversaries that you have the highest power in the name of Jesus.
9.Father, let all our waiting mothers receive supernatural touch that will result in fruit of the womb this month in the name of Jesus.
10.Father, your Church GCIC shall continue to grow in leaps and in bounds thereby becoming a city without wall and a nation without border for the multitude of people in the name of Jesus.
The Senior Pastor’s prophetic declaration:
The Holy Ghost shall turn your darkness to into light.
He will make ways for you where you lack access and turn your obstacles to miracles in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
