TOPIC: POWER OF THE WORD (PART 2)
TEXT: LUKE 4:14-15
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
The word of God is the greatest force on earth because God is the embodiment of His word.
The word of God is unchallengeable. When the word of God is applied correctly, the devil will be defeated.
Eccl. 8:4-5 Where the word of a king [is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.
Everything on earth and in heaven answers to the power of the word of God.
The power of the word is for deliverance from weakness and weariness. 1 John 2:14. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
The level of the word you have determines the level of your strength in your spirit, soul and body.
The power of the word gives light that conquers darkness.
2 Cor. 6:7. By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left. The greatest power of the devil is in darkness, but when you have light, you will render the devil powerless.
Luke 22:53. Increase your word, and your light to conquer the devil will be increased.
The power of the word delivers you from the power of death and hell. John 11:43-44. This power delivers from the fire of the wicked, shame and disappointment.
ASSIGNMENT
1. Be connected to Jesus.
2. Let the word of God be rooted in your heart
PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, I thank you for sending your word of power unto me in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, I receive the grace to become a student of the word thereby defeating the devil always in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, by your word I obtain total deliverance from weakness and weariness in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, I receive supernatural strength through your word thereby fulfilling destiny in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, every darkness around my life disappear by the power of the word in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, I come against arrow of misdirection and confusion fired against my life in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, please provide for the need of all our newcomers and new converts thereby establishing them in Christ and in the Church in the name of Jesus.
8. Father, let there be mega business breakthrough and accelerated career elevation for all committed Kingdom promoters in this Church this year in the name of Jesus.
9. Arrow of barrenness and unfruitfulness in the lives of all our waiting mothers expire by fire in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, the blood of Jesus shall continue to avail and prevail for your servants the Senior Pastors, Pastor Matthew and Pastor (Mrs) Mary Morakinyo in the name of Jesus.
The Senior Pastor’s prophetic declaration:
Power resisting the place of the word of GOD on your behalf shall be set on fire now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
