TOPIC: PRAYER AND DESTINY
TEXT: MATTHEW 6:6.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
Without a life of buoyant and consistent prayer life, destiny remains under bondage and captivity.
Every genuine believer must see prayer as a primary assignment. Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. No soldier can go to war without a weapon and win.
Prayer is the only weapon a genuine Christian can fight with and win in the battle of destiny. But we must know why we fight.
We pray in order to escape danger and temptation against our lives and destiny. Matt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. When you give yourself to prayer, your destiny is secured. Every attack against your destiny is terminated in the name of Jesus.
We pray against opposition to the open doors that the Lord has opened unto us in destiny.
1 Cor 16:9 :For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. Powers that want to abort your destiny are rendered powerless in the place of prayer.
We pray to take our possession which belongs to us in destiny. Deut 2:24. Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. You need to contend for your inheritance in the place of prayer. We pray to change level to a desired level. 2 Cor. 3:18.
ASSIGNMENT
You must know who you are.
Engage your heart in prayer.
PRAYER POINTS
1: Father, thank you for the revelation knowledge of your word in the name of Jesus.
2: Father, ignite my prayer life that will make me to fulfil destiny without struggle in the name of Jesus.
3: Father, I receive power to pray through thereby receiving answers in the name of Jesus.
4: Father, evil plans of the enemy over me and my destiny shall fail in the name of Jesus.
5: Father, every attack against my destiny and glory will not prosper in the name of Jesus.
6: Father, let everyone called barren in this church become a joyful mother of children in the name of Jesus.
7: Father, any opposition against the open doors of our newcomers and new converts shall fail in the name of Jesus.
8: Father, I shall no longer experience failure at the edge of breakthrough again in the name of Jesus.
9: Father, by your voice and leading, I shall escape every plot of the enemy to make me fail in destiny in the name of Jesus.
10: Father, answer all the prayers of your servants Pastor Matthew and Pastor (Mrs) Mary Morakinyo over this Church GCIC and her members in the name of Jesus.
The Senior Pastor’s prophetic declaration:
