TOPIC: WHAT IS FAITH?
TEXT: HEBREWS 11:1-2
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
Faith is automatic where information is adequate.
Knowledge is important because when you know something, you are at advantage to make use of that thing to the maximum. Prov 2:6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. It is the light you have that makes you gain flight in any endeavor.
Faith is a spiritual system through which we lay hold on what God can do. Luke 1:37-38 For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. When you know what God does and you know He can do it in your life is what confirms your faith in God. God will perform His wonders in your life this week in the name of Jesus.
Faith is a major master key that links humanity to divinity for man to create possibilities of God. Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Faith is what gives man the ability to perform what God will perform. There is no impossibility with God so also there is no impossibility with a man of faith.
Faith is the expression of confidence in God and His Word until your testimonies become evidence and public. Heb 10:35,38 Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward… 38. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Undeniable testimony is one of the products of active and functional faith.
ASSIGNMENT
Be ready to obey promptly.
Be a student of the word of God.
PRAYER POINTS
1.Father, I thank you for the revelation knowledge of your word of faith unto me in the name of Jesus.
2.Father, today, I receive adequate information and revelation that will terminate my challenges in the name of Jesus.
3.Father, by the power of light, I shall no longer crawl, walk or run but flying in the name of Jesus.
4.Father, by the power of faith, turn every impossible case in my life to possibility in the name of Jesus.
5.Father, let our newcomers and new converts receive undeniable testimonies that will draw multitude to Church in the name of Jesus.
6.Father, remember me and let heaven and earth begin to give me attention that will lead to my testimonies in the name of Jesus.
7.Father, let your prophecies of extraordinary exploits come to pass over GCIC and her members in the name of Jesus.
8.Father, I break every yoke of delay over the manifestation of prophecies and promises in my life in the name of Jesus.
9.Father, answer everyone waiting on you for the fruit of the womb today and let them carry their babies soon in the name of Jesus.
10.Father, open the door of greater grace and anointing unto your servants Pastor Matthew and Pastor (Mrs) Mary Morakinyo for greater works and fulfillment of destiny in the name of Jesus.
The Senior Pastor’s prophetic declaration:
